Instructions: You are to interview two people and record their responses on this form. You should state their name and their comments to your solution to the identified problem.

VI. I interviewed two individuals to see what their response would be to my (our) plan. Their responses are as follows.

I interviewed Ms. Jacobs (2/23/11 @ 1:35pm) who is a teacher at Dsitrtict 94 Highschool and i asked her the question, "What ae your thoughts/opinions on terminating the penny?"
And she replied
" I agree with that if you support enough information to prove to people that the penny is worthless. People want to hear why and itll be important to incorportae that into your propostiion. "
She also said," that I am for the termination of the peny only if you have good enough reasons to convince others, and support your bill."

Ms. Barry was the second person I interviewed (2/23/11 @ 1:45pm) and she also had some opinions for this bill.
I asked her what she thought about the termination of the penny and she said,
"No you cant get rid of the penny !" and i asked why, and she said, "its a USA trade mark. Eveeryone knows about the penny whether people use them or not. "
She also explained that people will either be loosing money by rounding to the nearest dollar , dime, nickel, or quater, but sometimes people will gain money ."

VII. My (our) answer, based on our research, to their objections and concerns are that the penny is not valuale anymore. You cant find anything to buy for just a penny. Instead you see them on the floor in streets, behind couches, given to the poor like its worth nothing, and even thrown out. It cost almost doubled what the value is. Its an abused currency which in any state it is illegal to deface any kind of currency. And the penny is abused everyday. Certain establishements already have denied the use of the penny such as pay tolls. With the way economy is today, the money spent on producing the pennies can be spent on more valuable, imoportant things.
